During the pandemic the medical world has assummed huge attention from the public further stressing the importance of modern medical science, but what did people in the Ancient world think of medicine? The site at Epidaurus contained both temples and hosptitals offering valuable insight into the healing cults of the Greek and Roman world. Supplicants to the healing cult of Asklepios would often dedicate clay sculptures of the body part they wanted healed.
